Does Propecia Remove Current DHT?

Hi guys,

This is my first post here.

From my research I am now aware that Propecia (Finasteride) stops something like 2/3 DHT being produced, right?

Well, my main question is: what happens to the DHT that is already in the hair follicles?

Does Propecia remove that? Does it just remain and continue to inhibit hair growth, whilst finasteride prevents further hair loss? Does it just naturally dissapear? Or do you need to take something else to remove it from the follicles?

Thanks in advance!

The DHT is "used up" by your body--it's metabolized in some form over time. The DHT that's there eventually disappears, and your body tries to make more--but it can't, because propecia is blocking that from happening.
