Does Propecia Help Maintain Frontal Hairline?

Hi guys, i am very close to purchasing Propecia but have a query. I have some thinning around my temples and am 21, so am getting the treatment as a way of tackling the issue as a preventative measure.

However, i heard propecia only works around the crown. Will it help me maintain my current frontal hairline?
Im not interested in regrowth, just keeping what ive got at the front.

Also i heard there is some shedding after using the drug, is this true?

It will help you. So will Minoxidil.

It works just the same on the hairline. It just wasn't tested there. That's the only reason.

It all depends on how long your hair has been gone. If it's been years, decades, probably won't do a thing
for the dead areas.

Otherwise you definitely have hope.
