Does Nioxin scalp treatment work?

Hey guys I'm new. I have a receded hairline in the front to where an island is formed. Hair is thick and great in the back, but in the front it's receding. The left side is worse than the right.
Anyway I am very self conscious about it. I use Nioxin scalp therapy, but I'm wondering if that is the right stuff for me to use? I'm 21 and I don't want my hairline to get worse!

i use system 4 (apart from the scalp treatment foam, the way it stuck my hair together pissed me off too much) i can say it's good at thickening and making it look better but i wouldn't say it's a very potent anti hairloss treatment
in other words i would recommend it but just not on it's own i would use finasteride with it and growth stimulant
