Does minoxidil make anyone else's hair feel like sh*t?

My hair looks and feels horrible, like really dry and dead and other people have commented on the it. It doesn't help that I have bleached blonde highlights too but I feel like I'm wasting a lot of money using expensive conditioners for coloured hair to make it feel all nice and soft again, then 10 mins later when I put my minoxidil on it's back to having hair that feels like a load of dirty hay dumped on top of my head!

Does anyone else have this problem and is there any way round it?
BTW I use Rogaine foam and Spectral DNC each once per day.

Try hair spray or some sort of moisterizer.
