Does Minoxidil cause itching & flaking?

It sure did with me.

I began using Minoxidil a year ago and it produced a dry flake on my scalp which itched (especially immediately after applying Minoxidil for a period of a couple hours).

I'm throwing this out to find out if others have experienced this and what products you recommend that will help keep or grow hair on the crown without side effects.

a lot of people who are balding (especially younger guys) have a condition in which their skin is overly dry

are you constipated? lips always chapped?

in this case, the alcohol makes your condition even worse

I'd try some flaxseed oil (Refridgerated kind, most of it is sh*t) to get some moisture into your body

also, take your temperature as soon as you wake up, if its below 97.6 or so go see an endocrinologist and test your free T3 (i suspect a lot of premature balding is related to thyroid disorder)
