I'm mainly asking cause I've never really noticed wrinkles on my forehead and I've only been on minoxidil since December 21st, so I don't think it could be the cause. But I've heard alcohol does dry the skin out, so maybe they're just more prominent because my forehead is a bit more dry? I'm not overly worried, but It feels strange to see two slightly noticeable forehead wrinkles at 22, but it could be my age. I've just googled and say people spouting that it does, so I thought it would be best to ask if this is normal, and just a maybe a lesser known side effect that can happen for people who say use minoxidil on the hairline like myself.
I do ensure that its dry before I go to bed, so its not being spread on my pillow cases, I change them along with my sheets every 3-4 days as well. I also make sure to wipe, and wash away any minoxidil that drips past my intended target. I'm known to be overly sensitive to prescriptions, and products as I have very fair, and sensitive skin. I've heard that it reduces collagen but alas I can't find proof that it does, so I want to ask here to see if anyone has experienced wrinkles from minoxidil. As I've noticed two on my forehead, as well as some just what I would say appear as dry skin wrinkles near the temples where I apply the minoxidil. I just want to ensure if I should possibly lower my doseage to combat this if its a known problem.
Thanks for any responses I get, and by no means am I trying to scare people away from this product.
