There are several cases of prostate cancer in my family, and although this isn't really something to worry about until you reach 40 (I'm 25), I really wonder about this one thing:
Does long term use of propecia prevent prostate cancer? Or Benign prostate hyperplasia?
I know a nutritionist told me saw palmetto, as a dietary supplement, could prevent BPH, and that guys from 35-40 often take it as a dietary supplement if they have a risk of developing PBH or cancer...
Could propecia also have this preventive effect?
