Does Long Hair Shed More Than Short Hair?

I'm curious if longer hair sheds more than shorter hair.....my hairs pretty long and I think it's fairly thick, but just wondering if it's more prone to tangling and shedding from brushing and combing.... Or if I'm just overly shedding. Could I be difuse thinning or am I possibly receding a bit?. I can't tell where I'm shedding from but it seems to be everywhere on my head back sides and top.and I've been worried for a few years over this.

Dude wtf are you on a hairloss forum for ? You still have a child hairline at 35 years old - that’s borderline unheard of.
Coming on to these forums you’re fuelling an obsession for something that doesn’t even exist.
We all shed hair everyday - 10% of all your hair is in the process of shedding. Someone with that much hair will obviously shed a fair amount of hair even with no Androgenetic Alopecia .

I feel your answer is one that has worried me, I didn't know if I would shed more having somewhat thicker hair than say the average....or if the 50 hair thing was the same for everyone.

Dude for a full head like yourself it’s closer to 100-150 hairs a day . You’re straight up paranoid and not losing hair at all .
