does lexipro (an antidepressant) encourage hair growth?

on lexipro. Can't tell if I'm going through a seasonal shed or the medicine is doing it. Any thoughts? Thanks as always.

I am on Lexapro as well and yes it does increase hairloss, you are not going through a shed brother that is the real deal. If you look in the literature and in the med books it lists hair loss as a side effect.

redbone -- so whats another similar antidepressant that wouldn't cause hairloss?
