I've heard the phrase that its best to catch hairloss early. However, in the case of minoxidil, does it really matter when you start it?
We all know that minoxidil does not actually stop DHT from destroying your hair follicles, it only stimulates the roots giving the appearance that your hair is healthier when really its being miniturized behind the scenes.
The way I see it, minoxidil could be seen as a "last resort", or more of a cosmetic fix. It doesnt actually help hairloss, just doesnt make it seem that bad.
In other words, its not going to push our your hairloss. If you are going to go Patrick Stewart bald, you are going to go bald in the same amount of time *assuming* you dont use other treatments which actually stop DHT from destroying your hair follicles.
Is my notion correct? Am I missing anything in my claims?
