Does Finasteride Usually Produce Better Results In The Early Stages Of Balding?

Hey guys,

I have just started taking generic finasteride a few days ago and was wondering with respect to results from taking the drug. I am somewhere between a Norwood 1.5-2, probably closer to a 2 but i feel i have caught my balding fairly early. Does finasteride usually produce better results in terms of thickening and maintaining the earlier someone starts on treatment or is a relatively standard response in terms of maintaining?

Yeah that's generally thought to be true - the sooner the better.

I read different things about age though, I think that Dr. Bernstein and Dr. Raussman's websites contradict one another on this point. The former thinks over 40 respond better and the latter younger patients.

I hope the opposite is true in that young guys get a better response haha. I turn 23 next month and plan to use finasteride to at least get me through my 20's if i continue to experience no sides.
