Does finasteride affect your ability to make babies?

Not that I'm planning to have kids any time soon...but I was wondering if it reduces fertility, etc. I know it can make you impotent, but that's more of a physical obstacle than something chemical. Or is this one of those long term things that no one can be sure about?

Wasn't the general concensus that everyone's gonna get off it when they try for a baby... no one seems to have much faith in the FDA.
