Does Finasteride Affect All Scalp Hair?

The reason I ask is that I’ve been on finasteride nearly six months and my donor area seems to be growing astonishingly fast and looks healthier. I once saw someone post saying it affects all scalp hair (assuming you respond) and not just the male pattern baldness area. Anyone know if this is true?

It will help any hair being negatively affected by the dread DHT.
