I dont know...
But in general: try to ask shorter... people do not like reading long messages with partly unnecessary information

pmill,

I'm sorry you are not getting a response. I had to reply because I remember I sent you a PM and you thoroughly answered my question. I am not familiar with betamethasone myself. On the other hand, I used to read up on the website of the doctor that created copper peptides (dr. pickart). His website is skinbiology.com. There is a forum there that I used to frequent. Don't quote me on this but I remember vaguely he said something about long term topical cortisone use would thin out skin. Check that forum out and type in cortisone of betamethasone and you should get results. For the short term, why not use nizoral or something more frequently to control the itch until you can see your term again? Anyways, let us know how it goes. Take care bro.

oh and for your other question: i believe u should apply the foam first and wait til it dries up, then apply the cream. if you apply the cream first it would create a barrier and i believe the minoxidil would have a difficult time penetrating through.

abovedagame thanks alot for replying-ive read up on the thinning of the skin from the cortisones so ill deff be careful with that and the problem with the nizoral is that it seems to make my hair dry and brittle and make my scalp worse..i used to be fine with it though,,i think the rogaine foam is drying out my scalp,,i would really love to do FUE..im looking into that,my hair has always been extra thin in a certain area on my scalp ever since i was a kid so i know that part will never fully fill in so i think fue would be a good option..but thanks again for replying bro..

pretty much the same except the rogaine foam irritated my scalp so im using the betamethasone to help that and i stopped rogaine for now...i feel like everytime i use the rogaine foam i shed way too much and i dont think its because its not helping i just thing its because it dries out my scalp..and the nizoral just makes things worse.so im using a diff shampoo now.but ill never stop the propecia.like i said im looking into the fue because theres a thin part on my scalp that had bothered me from day one and i want to see if i can get that filled in..most people would tell me im crazy and i have so much hair but they're not me(i can only style my hair certain way downwards for it too look ok)..but if it bothers the person like me and you are self conscious about it forever then why not do something about it right??why just settle and live with it when you can do something about it???i can do something about it so i will....i think people are scared to get transplants and fue procedure done.because of pain and so forth..i think they just need to grow a pair of balls.i dont think it has so much to do with money(some it might),but i deff think hair is more important then anything on a man...the transplanted hairs last forever so its worth every penny..the worst thing to do is listen to people on the forum that tell you not to do things.you can do whatever you want and whatever you feel is right,,if you want the fue or tranplant done then go for it,dont wait around wasting time..

Hey, can you explain the irritation you've been experiencing from the foam? I too have been itching for a while and its been really bothering me. THe reason I ask is because most of the itching is located in the front where I apply the foam.

Was the itching that bad that you had to see your derm? I might want to talk to a derm for a topical that can help with the irritation.

Thanks man

yea the itching/drying/flaking was all in the area that i was applying the foam..the derm gave ,me that topical steroid and its helped alot but the bottle is almost finished plus you cant use it for long anyways... i also stopped using rogaine and my hair dosent really shed anymore..and my scalp feels alot more moisturized now because i stopped using the nizoral which was drying the hell out of my scalp..my hair feels and looks better now,but the propecia i wont stop
