Does a high Hairline mean a big head?

Hey guys........ok i'm setting a date for when i'm going to shave my head. I've noticed myself getting more and more obsessed with not only my regemin working or not, but also with people who look good with shaved heads.

ofcourse before i shave my head i want to be sure that i might be able to pull it off. Ofcourse i can't know untill i do it.

Now my question to you crew cut soldiers is, were any of you surprised that your head wasn't shaped the way you thought it was? Like if you thought you had a big head, but really didn't. etc.....

because i have a high hairline, and i'm worried that when i shave my head or atleast cut it really short that my high hairline really just means a Big Head!!!!! what do you guys think

to tell you the truth, i've only seen a few people who really looked bad with a shaved head. most people look fine IF they do a few things

1. make sure the top of your head matches the complextion of the rest of your face. this can mean get a tan or sunburn, use a self tanning lotition, etc etc.

2. do not clean shave your head with a razor the first time you plan on shaving it. use the number 2 attachment on the clippers before going any lower. if your a norwood 3 or under, i believe shaving the head with attachment #1 looks good.

3. get in shape! you've probably heard this before on this forum, but a built body with a shaved head looks bad ***. women have even told me they like the look. if your really skinny and shave your head, you may end up looking like an AIDS patient or cancer patient....it's even worse if you are really pale, skinny, and have a clean shaved head.

be warned that the first time you buzz your head you will be in for a shock. you will no longer have the extra hair to cover up a receeding hair line. your hair loss will be more evident to other BUT there is good news.
you are no longer hiding your hair loss and your head will appear more uniform (rather than looking like sh*t with the comb-over look). you also don't have to worry about wind blowing your hair all around exposing your thinning hair to everyone, and ruining the hair you spent awhile making sure it was just right.

most hairstylists agree that balding men, or men that are thinning look best with a short hair cut. having long thin hair is hell to work with.
