Here a study about finasteride 5 mg in women patient , which shows that it works after the failure of 1 mg dosis .

If you're not afraid of sides, I don't see why wouldn't you take higher dosage. Higher dosage can't make your hair worse!

I believe, you will have to research, that studies showed that for baldness extra fina provided very negligible benefits however significant costs and slight side effects. I really think that one could derive more benefits attacking baldness from other angles, i.e nizoral, minoxidil, dutas, RU, etc
