I do however think theres a problem with companies not wanting to risk research into male pattern baldness, because its such a complicated condition, that they may spend billions, and still not get any marketable solution, so they are hesitant to waste that money.
anyway, i think its more a case of pharm companies creating thousands of new compounds , and then seeing wat each one does, or has potential to do, rather than trying to specifically create a chemical for a specific purpose. thats why theres so many drugs that people claim were accidentily found. The compounds itself werent accidentily found, but the use for them was.
When they do try and make one for a specific purpose, i would say they have to try and mimick something, either the action of a natural compound or another drug.
but since i dont work for a pharma company, i dont really know.
I dont buy the whole conspiracy theory though.
