Do You Think finasteride Would Help? 23, Rubbish Hairline But Loads Of Hair Still.

Hey.

What do you think my chances would be if I went on finasteride? Maybe minoxidil as well?
I posted on here maybe a year ago but didn't do anything with the advice I was given but I feel like every year I am just losing the chance to try and get something done.

I'm nearly 24, always had a high hairline but it's definitely got worse over the last couple years and I'm definitely thinning. I've always had a longer style on hair so I've been able to use wax etc to get some volume and try to hide it.

I'll post some pics, do you think finasteride would help? I play in a band and unfortunately it is a very vain industry and I need to hold onto my hair as long as I can!

show us some before and after pics. if you still got good volume and density, and your hairline is just getting slowly higher, finasteride should help you maintain.

you are doing yourself a massive disservice having your hair that long. Get it cut a lot shorter and it will look better and thicker.

the hair you do have is of great quality, very thick. You are the prime candidate for finasteride, i am almost positive you will see beneficial changes.

I wouldn't take minoxidil. I would just take finasteride. I don't think your specific case would get much use out of minoxidil and it would be very annoying to apply to to that long hair

The hairline recession is extremely obvious, it's definately male pattern baldness, I don't know why you'd think otherwise
