Do you need more potassium with minoxidil?

This might sound strange, but I was reading up on potassium and defficiencies can relate to dry skin. People have reported dry areas around the eyes and wrinkles, which can be caused when the skin has less moisture. Potassium helps regulate water in cells.

I've been on Regaine for a mont and I have noticed slight dryness just under my eyes.

Since it's a strong theory that minoxidil opens potassium channels, does this mean more potassium is directed to the scalp, therefore meaning there's less of it elsewhere in the body, particularly the face where it would make sense much of the nutrients pass from?

Perhaps that's too simplistic?
