CCS have asked this question before, and i really wanted to know the answer, so i thought i would create a thread about it. Is there something we need DHT for anyway?

From what i know its used for our pennis development, hair loss, and body hair production. So after our pennis is fully developed, i assume at the age of 18-19, is there anything else that we could say we REALLY need DHT for?

I would say that it has some purpose in the nervous system as 5AR reductase enzymes have been found in the brain and neurons are sensitive to hormonal fluctuations. Until science knows the purpose of DHT in the brain, I would have to say that complete inhibition is something that a person does not want to do.

I think not every man responds the same to DHT. For some it's necessary to get good erections for some not. Some people get depressed because of low DHT some not. In my oppinion body needs every hormone it is producing otherwise it wouldn't be there in the first place. How important it is? We don't know yet. How dangerous it is to block it or suppress it to very low levels? We don't know yet. Is DHT the sole culprit for our hairloss? We don't know yet.
