Do they not make name-brand 2% Nizoral anymore?

I went to my pharm with a script for 2% nizoral and got the generic, they said they didn't have the name brand and that it was the same thing. Are they equal?

Yes they are the same. I am not sure if they still make the Nizoral 2% name brand anymore though.

and theres no 1% over here only nizoral 2%
and you dont need a prescription

Here in the USA 2% is a prescription but I have mostly used the 1%. It is less drying.

Its the exact same stuff but not every pharmacy will carry a name brand drug. You're probably the first person to ask for Nizoral 2% in a year.

Nizoral, generic 2% ketoconazole, the same.
