Hi,

I'm not on minoxidil yet, but I'm thinking about adding it here very soon.. as I have a visible thin spot on the left side of my crown towards the very back..

My question is, do I apply minoxidil only to the thinnest spots, or do I put it ALL OVER my crown?

Thanks !

I assume it is very important as the hairs that are good quality now, would end up becomming minoxidil dependent if you treated them... and could make me shed where I don't want to shed.

I dunno, I probably should just apply it to the whole head as there is general thinning.. but I'm scared!

Its not gonna become minoxidil dependent..theres no evidence of that happening..If i was you, i would just apply to affected areas, rub it in, and if it gets a little into the areas unaffected - who cares..no biggie

Cool thanks, I'm just scared to start minoxidil that's all.. and unsure how I should go about applying it.

I just worry that it's going to cause problems with the healthy hairs..

Any other opinions?
