Do I need to be concerned about losing my hair or is this relatively normal?

So I am currently 24 years old and will be turning 25 later this year. Towards the end of college, I noticed my temple hair had receded slightly, but only slightly. That got me concerned over possibly more recession or even losing all my hair and just recently I've been concerned about my crown and whether or not it's normal or starting to thin. Everywhere else on my head is quite thick but that spot is making me slightly nervous. The only reason I am slightly concerned is because almost every male on my mother's side has a quite a receding hairline or is going totally bald. On the other hand, every male on my father's side has a full set of hair with slightly receded temples, including my 86 year old grandfather. Thus, I'm unsure if I should be concerned. I've included below two pictures I just directly under a light. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

You get some options:

1- do nothing and wait to see if your are receding further

2- be proactive and see a physicians with some knowledge on hair loss to confirm or dismiss your baldness. If you are going bald, ask for finasteride to stop the progression of your hairloss and maybe regrow some hair

If you don't want to take finasteride, you can use some less effective(than finasteride) non-prescription shampoo with ketozocanole in it: Nizoral, Regenepure, Revita, etc.

it's impossible to tell at this stage. I'd wait but monitor it closely

I agree, the best thing you can do now is carefully monitor the progression of hair loss or lack there of, over the next few years.
