i dont want to get into the hormone changin stuff yet ...so my question is is minoxidil and noziral good enough for hairloss or do you have to go the "big three" way? and will this minoxidil/noz combo strong enough (even though its not supposed to)to stop hairloss not just regrow?

Try using a topical anti-androgen. spironolactone is very popular and many sware by it.

It all depends on what kind of condition your hair is in, how thinned out you are, how fast you are thinning, how strong the underlying cause of the hairloss is, and more importantly, what kinda goals do you have by attacking your hairloss. You need to read through the FAQ sections on the site and do research. Your question is too broad.

What axon is talking about it a topical DHT inhibitor as opposed to taking an oral one which can mess with your hormones, like propecia.
