Do I Even Need Finasteride!? Been To Four Derms - All Day Something Different

I have been to four Derms. one said i am a norwood 1. another said that my hair should be stable for 5 years. the other TWO said i am in early stages of androgenic hair loss. i have been on finasteride for a month. i do not want to be on this if my hair is going to level out. norwood experts, what’s the verdict. I attached pics of my hair lifted up and “normal”. i’ve def receded since i first started posting here, but maybe it’s a mature hairline? I do have very thick hair, but i’m losing some volume recently

biggest issue is that every derm says something different

Its typical thing, derms are prescribing biotins and vitamins other one wishes you best luck and other one suggesting you to pray in church.

my issue is that some said i wasn’t going bald and others said it was male pattern loss. now i’m on finasteride and my skin is dry af, and i’m wondering if it’s even something i need

I think your hair are normal right now. I would not jump on finasteride if i was you at this moment.

Looking at those pictures I don't think you are losing hair. Temples little receded but it just might be maturing. Overall you have good density. I would just take pictures of temples every 6 months and compare.
