Ok, I updated this thread title and added a post about the apple poly in DNC - see last post - now the question is about the apple poly.

old message:
I think that Vichy and Kerastase use 1.5% aminexil in their products. Do you know what is the concentration of Aminexil in DNC? I looked in their site but didn't find it. Maybe it's written on the Ingredients list on the bottle itself?
Thanks in advance,

I was wondering about this too, as well as the Cu Peptides.

They are pretty good about responding to emails so hopefully they'll give a %.

A few moths ago they gave me this response:

Thank you for the wonderful comments on our Hair loss treatment Spectral DNC. We feel very passionate about giving our customers the best and this is the foundation and business philosophy at DS Laboratories. It is always very exciting to see customers appreciate our work.

The concentration of Aminexil in the Spectral DNC formula is approximately 1%.

Please feel free to e-mails us at any time we can be of assistance.

1% seems pretty significant. Especially when comparing the cost of standalone Aminexil treatments.

Maybe we should ask the % of Cu Peptides and Apple Poly's in there too now! :)

Ok! same question with Apple Poly :)

Does anyone know how much Apple poly there is in DNC?

As with the comparison of standalone Aminexil products with DNC, here we should compare DNC with that applepoly site products. The product from applepoly site is very expensive, and question is: are they really putting alot of apple poly in it, or should we settle with what DNC has?

According to Angie in customer service at DS Laboratories both the DNC and Revita shampoo have 4% Apple Polyphenol. I actually emailed her about a week ago for this info.

for me that would mean i probably wouldnt bother
with the apple poly spray if youre using dnc. i couldnt be bothered with
a third topical anyway but i reckon its still worth getting the capsules.

i base this on no scientific evidence whatsoever.

Could someone who's using Spectral DNC please post the list of ingredients found on its bottle? I can't find them on their website.

Thanks!

JJ, take a look again, it is there. You will probably also find it by searching this forum.

FairTaxNow --

I can only find a list of its ACTIVE ingredients (Minoxidil, Aminexil, Retinol, Vitamin Complex, Herbal Extracts, Nanosomes, Adenosine, Procyanidin B-2 and C-1). What I'm looking for is a complete list of ALL ingredients, including the inactive ones.

Considering my recent experience with Tricomin, I'm starting to wonder if I have an allergy to the alcohols put in many of these products. The alcohols are not listed as active ingredients, but I'm pretty sure even the inactive ingredients have to be listed on the bottle itself.

So I'd really appreciate it if someone could list all of the ingredients listed on a bottle of this stuff.

Oh! My bad. Yeah I understand about wanting to see ALL the ingredients too.

It's listed on this site here dermadoctor.com

They are the following:

Ingredients: Active Ingredient: Minoxidil 5%
Other Ingredients: Deionised Water, Nanosomes of Ivy, Hops, and Capsicum, Nanosomes of Procyanidin B-2 and C1, Adenosine, Diaminopyrimidine Oxide (Aminexil), Triclosan, Ethanol, Vitamin and Mineral Complex, Propylene Glycol, Piractone Olamine, Methylparaben.

Vitamin and Mineral Complex includes the 1% Copper Peptides solution. I can't remember the specific peptide but it was one that excited Bryan. Look for a thread called "What kind of Copper Peptides are in Spectral DNC" and I posted the response from DS Labs of what kind were in there and at 1%.

This sounds like the up to date formula. I don't remember PPG being on there though. That's probably why I had HORRIBLE itching that lasted from the 3-6 week period when I first started using it. Was able to mitigate this itch by using pyrithione zinc (H&S) shampoo on my nizoral off days, and by washing at night with a 85% Aloe Vero Shampoo, as well as putting some hydrocortisone on my scalp! Took some zinc supplements as well as I heard this helped too. Finally, thank GOD, after about the 6 week period the whole itch just went away and has not come back (knock on wood). I was able to stop with the hydrocortisone and H&S shampoo as well once the itch disappeared.

Damn. I might really be screwed. Even Spectral RS (from what I can see on the website you mentioned) has ethanol (also known as SD Alcohol 40-B or ethyl alcohol) and propylene glycol.

I'm not sure what to do now. I started getting sides even from Tricomin (weird tightness in my chest when I breathe) and the only common ingredient between it and the minoxidil treatments I've used is ethanol/ethyl alcohol. And that stuff's in EVERYTHING.

I dunno. Does anyone know how long it takes for Minoxidil to leave your system? Maybe I'm still just reacting from it and not the Tricomin?

Doesn't Dr. Lee over at minoxidil.com have some formulations without PPG or ethanol in it?

I've heard of some people who buy pharmaceutical minoxidil and make their own topical. It was prescribed as an internal before but I'm not sure how easy it is to find like that anymore. Guess you better check Dr. Lee's site.

Dr. Proctor has that Proxiphen (or whatever it's called) product that has a bunch of ingredients mixed in like Spectral but it's very expensive. Maybe that is PPG/ethanol free too? I don't know, google his name and check it out.

How can that be if it's listed after the Keto which is 1%?

I noticed the latest ingredients were posted here..notice the "nanosomes of"..and minoxidil isn't one of them?

How 'bout emailing them, being that they're responsive, and letting us all know when you find out?! :D

I've given up on emailing them. Nearly a year ago I questioned their use of nanosomes, especially the minoxidil being encapsulated. If you read their website etc it never just says "minoxidil encapsulated in nanosomes" or something similar- like the product at http://www.min.com says.

I was told(and not just by one of the regular responders there) way back then..that when they updated their website they'd change it to be more clear on this. The website has been updated...nothing about minoxidil being encapsulated in nanosomes.(notice it used to and still may say nanosomes of hops etc..the HERBAL ingredients are encapsulated).

And just recently again it was brought to their attention by a few of us at Regrowth. And still they can't make it crystal clear on their website- or even the packaging/container from what I've read.
