I want to pitch a question to this fantastic forum: how would you approach a friend about their hair loss concerns?
Here are the situations I'm in-
Friend A. This friend received a buzz cut recently and noticed slight recession in his hair. He's worried that it's male patterned baldness. I think it might be subtle. I talked to him about my success with Rogaine and while he's convinced it worked for me, he pointed out that he's African American and has a different hair type so he's not sure how Rogaine, or any other type of hair treatment product, would work for him.
Friend B. This friend has not spoken to me about his hair loss but it's pretty evident in the front and he is crowning rapidly. I know this hair loss has affected his confidence and I want to approach him without coming off as rude or like I think I'm the ultimate authority on the subject.
