Disadvantages to clear bond? Don't like White Glue much!

I'm talking acrlyic, not silicone (which seems too strong).

White Bond - while effective - is annoying. I don't like the way it balls and flakes off, takes time to cure, etc.

Clear sounds more appealing, if my skin can tolerate it. Clean up w/ Ghostbond/white bond is really a pain.

How is dry time, cure time, hold & cleanup like w/ something like Walker Ultra?

I tried clear - the clean up for me was harder (although I've heard others who say the opposite so it could be a case of body chemistry). I think the key thing you need to be aware of is what is in it. Stuff that you put on your skin will then make its way into your bloodstream, and as far as I understand it (if anyone knows differently then please chip in!) the white glues contain far less harmful ingredients.

I can't stand Ghostbond, between the cure time & difficulty of removal - it's just a chore to use.

Does alcohol alone remove clear glue?

Ghostbond is fine as long as you are pro-active about removing and cleaning up. I do once a week, and as a result the bond usually hasn't broken down and gone gooey. When you get in before that stage, it's very easy to clean up. I tend to use an alcohol wipe (the kind you get in first aid kits) and it strips it right off the base/skin really easily.

If it hasn't gone a bit gooey isn't it too strong to remove?

Gooey is waay worse to get off. There's a sweet spot between the 'cement' phase and the 'goo' stage.
