Did someone find something that helps against DUPA ? I spoke with many people who suffer from DUPA on reddit, and it seems like nothing is working for us.
(Finasteride, Dutasteride, topical and oral minoxidil, Pyrutilamide, RU58841, topical Clobetasol, Topical melatonin.. We tried everything and we are still miniaturizing.)
Something interesting I found when speaking with them is that the hair loss almost always started after a disease (Mine started after having covid, 2years ago).
That's why I thought DUPA could have a relation with the immune system and be a kind of Diffuse Alopecia Areata, and that's one reason why I tried Topical Clobetasol but I'm using it for 2 months with 0 changes (still shedding the same quality/amount of hair, while people with Alopecia areata saw results after 6 weeks - according to some studies).
It seems like we almost all have sebderm too, and it's not going away with shampoo (tried Nizoral and selsun blue for months, didn't help).
Does someone have an idea ? The only next steps I can see is JAK inhibitor but it's risky and I have no guarantee it will do anything..
