If I understood your question correctly then the answer is yes it is. That's basically what diffuse thinning is thinning spots of hair throughout the scalp.

I'd say you have a pretty good chance at thickening them up with finasteride especially if you catch it early. Worked pretty well for me... you can check out my update with before and after pics in the success section to see how it's thickened up while on the big 3. Here's the link.

My hair is a lot longer compared to when I first took the pictures so obviously there is some extra coverage, but when I had my hair longer before I was on finasteride it was not nearly as thick and you could tell without a doubt that there was thinning. The diffuse thinning seemedto have thicken up quite a bit around 6 or so months on finasteride. So get on finasteride ASAP...the sooner the better...I wish ya the best man!

ketoconazol

active ingredient of nizoral and other dandruff schampoo's...

you have nizoral 1%
and nizoral 2%

i would recommend the 1% and only 2 times a week , so every time 3 days between...
and leave the schampoo on your head for about 5min , and wash out...

its part of the big 3

its for dandruff or irritation of the scalp , but it also inhibits dht....
best to check on info about this product... and see if its something to try for you...
it can also help with inflammation , or a imuumresponce of your skin/hair...
i presume diffuse thinning can be cause by a immune reaction...

also stress can be a factor , be sure to avoid stress as mutch as you can...

CMUdave amazing results and good choice of haircuts! Thanks for documenting your hair loss, You should be up in the success stories if you aren't already. I've been on hair loss meds since '03 so I know what to expect but this really helps out people who are just beginning!
