Since I had my thyroid removed 2 years ago I’ve been struggling with hair loss and diffuse thinning. Because I’m at risk of recurrence I have to stay on a dosage of medication that makes me hyperthyroid - leading to hair loss. The thinning seems to be picking up recently, and I’ve already switched to a short buzz (#1.5 or #2) to try to hide it. Need some advice — is this working for me or is it time to throw in the towel and shave it? Please vote and share your thoughts in the replies if you can. Thanks!
