Hi. As I have diffuse hair loss, I buzz my hair to less than half inch. Would the foam be easy to apply? When using the liquid form, I simply move the dropper all over my head and that was easy for me. In addition, I will be relocating to the tropics soon. Will the temperature be a problem? Thank you.

I also live in a hot climate. I believe my hair loss has accelerated since I did. But that may be due to a number of factors, such as the temperature, the humidity, diet, etc., etc. I do find myself washing my hair more as it gets more dirty more quickly. I've asked about that in another post.

I'm not sure what living in a tropical climate will generally do to your hair health. Anybody else? Might it have an effect on pores?

I have wondered myself, but I think the effect is very minor if any. I have never seen any studies on this so I tend to think it won't matter. I think living in a tropical climate (florida) tends to be better for health, physical and mental.

This isn't what I was getting at. My concern is more on Rogaine foam melting in a warm climate!

ahh, my apologies. Just skimmed over the topic and post. No I wouldn't think at all that it would be a problem. Are you going to live in an air conditioned climate?

The only time it melts is on your fingers.

What I do is take one of those plastic ice sticks (with the liquid inside that freezes) and just let my fingers get ice cold, dry my fingers, and then put the foam on my fingers.

You can run your hand under cold water too but it won't be as cold when you apply the foam so some will melt on your fingers. Once it's on your head it's absorbed almost immediately though so you obviously don't have to worry about it melting.
