I have heard it before but I am not too sure on what it really means. Does that mean your hair becomes thinner everywhere rather than receding. I shave my head because if I dont my horsheshoe is thin all over, but its thinner in front more than in the back. I was just wondering am I diffuse thinning since I am thin all over or what???

Diffuse - Widely spread or scattered; not concentrated.
anything that has affected ur density/thickness in any area could be considered diffuse by deffinition... if ur hairline has not moved but is thinning out that IS diffuse thinning in that area of ur head
