Did I start Propecia too early?

I have no doubt it will save my crown while I am afraid of it chewing up my hairline even more. I know it is too early to make an assessment (4 to 6 at the earliest) but my temples look thin and I know that Propecia increases testerone which I have notice (more chest and facial hair). At the same time, I have the belief of it will get a helluva lot worse before it gets better. So I don't know...

The funny thing is, I went through the same emotions today. This morning, I ran my fingers through my hair and about 20 hairs fell off. That didn't used to happen to me. I've been taking finasteride less than a month and minoxidil for 1.5 months now, so I am aware that I should get a bit of a shed. I actually think my hairline is slightly worse now than it was a month ago, but I have to keep going for at least 6 months to make an assessment.

Dude, that's life. Don't worry about it, spend your energy on something else.

You're right, anyway it is probably better I did it in the long run as if my hairloss is not advanced as the doctor says than probably better now than later.

Plus I have been getting back into running since right after my accounting class I had to jump right into my internship.

you guys that are on treatments ie propecia minoxidil, should keep hair short like half inch this way when you shed and you will shed over the years it wont drive u nuts. Also its 10000 times easier getin miox full coverage on short hair. I love it because when I go thru my 2 sheds a year I dont even notice it. Your brain starts playin head games with you when you are shedding long hairs and scares you.
