Did anyone ever get his teenage hairline back?

I would really be interested if there is any member out there who was receding and got his old teenage hairline back. Either by hair transplant or treatments or both.

i am starting to with avodart! seeing a ton of little light vellus hairs inside my temples only after 2.5 months. and i am seeing hairs about a quarter inch below my hairline.

i may have recovered most of it in another 10 months.

my main areas of concern were always the top and crown. i will grow my hair out in a few months and see if those has improved as well. getting some hairline growth is an added bonus considering i've never used minoxidil.

Jayman, I am following your fight against hair loss. I am really excited to see how the outcome will be. People as yourself really give me hope.

Still wondering how come avodart hasent been approved (FDA)for hair loss though.... There were in phase II sometime in 2000, and no news about phase III.
Do you guys know why after 6 years they havent been approved for hairloss... seems that this product is working well for hairloss though. Maybe this drug is some sort of dangerous or something....

Yes. Enough suffering in this place!!!
The last thing we need is someone to come in here and show-off his full head of hair.

Could some moderator tell JayMan to change his avatar, please?

yes, to you and strat,

i do have hair loss. if you don't believe me look through my tell your story thread:

that avatar picture is with my hair combed all the way forward. I have slight temple recession and thinning in the crown and top.

Still don't believe me? Check out the proof:

That picture is from July with wet and spiked hair. I am diffuse across the top.

Also, why the heck would I put myself on Avodart if I wasn't losing hair?

most people think they never went for approval because they didn't see a future profit from it with competition from generics. it does work better than propecia, no question.

I did believe you, but after seeing that picture…………
My advice is: never put that picture on your avatar, the avatar you have right now is just fine.

There’s a huge difference between wet and dry hair.

You did the right thing by buzzing your hair, no more concealing. And I bet it looks almost the same now either dry or wet.

And it does look the same now dry or wet.
