Dermatologist?

Hi All,

Been looking on the site for a while but recently just joined, Im currently 29 and based in the uk and have noticed over the past year receding in the temples. Its really getting to me now although I can style my hair in a fashion that you cant see any recession. I dont know where to start basically, the shedding on meds scares me and would def consider a hair transplant.

Im thinking of making an appointment initially with a dermatologist just to get a second opinion as my wife says Im being silly, Ive found one that does Hair Transplants as well not far from me however the consultation is costly.

Any thoughts on a dermatologist?

From what I've been told;


you have to be on propecia or on min. for a certain amount of months maybe a year. that's what its like across the pond

have you been on propecia and / or used rogaine?
