Derma Roller More Effective With Minoxidil?

Saw a couple of things on YouTube and some studies which showed derma roller being more effective with minoxidil, is that the case?

Well there are a couple different theories/methods of dermarolling so you'd have to be more specific. There's the wounding approach and the lightly rolling for absorption approach

What I'm thinking of trying is switching every 3 months between this 2 methods. I'm currently trying light rolling for absorbtion then I'll try wounding in 2 months. For wounding does the scalp have to bleed ?

I'm new to it myself, been doing the daily rolling for absorption for about 2 weeks. Supposedly the results come pretty quickly with this method but I will give it at least 2-3 months. I don't wound but my understanding is that if you are wounding, yes it is supposed to bleed

I'm on the same regimen as you. Just started 4 days ago, thinking about derma now not the wound but the standard rolling. How long you been on the 3? Any results?

I've started back on the dermaSTAMP a few days ago.

Supposedly the growth factors that the damage causes can be helpful, but in reality I don't think anyone got much more than baby thin vellus hairs regrowing on the stamped areas. On its own it probably will not do much, in combo with AA and minoxidil, like I said, hope for vellus at best.
Never seen terminal hairs coming back from wounding.

I make it bleed too. Just disinfect properly, both the stamp and your scalp. I wash my hair with shampoo, dip the stamp in alcohol, then dab some alcohol on my temples and front too (all the areas where I am stamping). Just so I don't get some nasty bacterial infection.

Anybody here who combines two rollers? On for wounding and one for absorption. Looking to add both.

I've been on the big 3 about 1.5 years. Yes good results and improvement

Do you have before and after? I wanna see from someone I know is legit. Can't trust many people online
