My psycologist is BALD, W/COMBOVER!!!!!

My shrink is female and I would feel more embarrassed telling a woman than telling a man...

i don't know.. telling someone you dont want to look like a freak in the next few years is a little difficult when your explaining it to someone with a combover.
I think a woman would be better. b/c obviously the guy that i'm dealing with has a concern about his own hair loss, otherwise he woudlnt have a combover....

This is an easy one. Do it if you'll feel better about it. If you won't express your concerns to the combover man, then he won't be able to address those with you. Honesty is important in a doctor/patient relationship. If you'll be able to talk about everything with a woman, make the change.

You should definitely switch. In fact, you should probably switch a few times, and not settle on a therapist until you find one you really click with. You need to find one that you feel comfortable with on most all levels.

Just tell him, "hey, sorry to say this, but I would like to see someone else." Don't worry about hurting their feelings, they will understand and not give you any crap whatsoever because they know that even the slightest of intangibles can create a block in your ability to communicate with them.

I can feel your pain man, same happened to me when I went to a male dermatologist and he was bald, I felt like sh*t.

Next time I go to a doctor to control my Propecia regimen I will ask for a doctor with a "full head of hair"
