Deciding On A Treatment Approach For A Thinning Nw2

hi all, first time poster... I'm 29 and MBP has hit and hit hard, its time I took action as my thinning over the last year has really taken its toll on my hairline, style and confidence.

reading these forums I get the sense that Finastride is my only real hope, my question is does this drug help turn my miniaturized hairs into thicker hairs? or will just maintain what I have and not regrow anything around the temples/hairline? (currently around a NW2 with thinning midscalp/crown)

any help would be appreciated.
