Hey Everyone,
So as of yesterday I went to go see a hair care specialist in regards to my hair. I have been unsure whether or not I have hair loss for the past couple years and since things have been ramping up I finally checked. I have minaturization across my scalp, thus it has been confirmed.. It's a tough pill to finally swallow. I took my first finasteride tablet last night. I think I will take a 1.25 eod and see how things go to start.
However, hair care specialist need to make money too and I think I have spotted a couple lies he said while I was there and I wanted your opinion. Here they are:
1. Finasteride lowers/stops testosterone
2. DHT forms a hard scale around the scalp that impedes blood flow. (He demonstrated this by pressing the camera on my scalp hard until a clear sebum came to the surface, which he labeled as DHT)
3. If this DHT is removed using a special "formula", namely certain natural vitamins and minoxidil, hair loss will stop.
4. finasteride sides are now assessed at 80% rather than 2 and that it is "old technology".
I will attach the 12 ingredients to the "formula" later. I would love to know your thoughts. I have caught it kinda early so I want to do what is best to maintain and improve. I am only 23
