Daughter lost hair at age 2, now 3 and growth still slow

My daughter lost her hair at age two about nine months ago. I thought it may have been due to the extreme dryness of her hair. I didn't know. Several tests were done. All test results were okay. I was told that there was no treatment for alopecia. I was told that she her hair loss probably came from hair styles that may have stressed the hair/scalp. Prayer is pretty much my focus at this point. I wanted to hear some other methods of hair growth promotion that may have worked for others. Any help is appreciated.
