Dairy of my hairloss treatment with pics

Ok so i thought it would be a good idea, to keep a dairy monthly of my hairloss treatment and how im doing with it. I'll add pics at the end of every month and see if there is any change. Ok so this is my starting pic. (all pics will be taken on the same camera with flash turned on)

In this pic you can see im a defuse thinner, pretty much all over the top of my head, its bad and looks worse when its longer.

Month 1

My treatment

proscar (cut into fifths) 1 fifth each day when i woke up
0.8ml of minoxidil a day after a bath
2% nizoral once every two days.

side effects
Within the first month on minoxidil i noticed alot of extra body hair on my shoulders and biceps and very high up shaft of my penis. discontinued use after 3 weeks.

Noticing some sides with propecia, less sex drive (dont mind that) finding it harder to get an erection. Wouldnt say my erection has shrunk just find it hard to get fully erect.

Other notes

None other than i have stoped minoxidil.

For the purposed of being even, i just shaved it after i took the above pic, this is how it looks short

I decided to let my hair grow for the month, to give an idea of what it looks like longer. It feels thicker but imo looks worse, i havent noticed any hairs falling out, infact its almost stoped any hairs falling out. Washed my hair the other day and noticed 2 in my hand. Think the Nizoral is whats making my hair thicker.

Treatment
Procar 1mg a day
2% nizoral every second day.



2nd month finished

Just finished my second month on propecia, (proscar cut into 5ths) and nizoral 2% every 2nd day. Here is my new pic

I can notice a bit more hair since last month at this length, so im quit happy and feeling optimistic. Tho that may be because im off to thailand now for 1 month. So hopefully the sun there and the relaxation will help my hair grow even more by the time i get back



I'll keep adding to this every few weeks and hopefully i'll have some results and it will help people in future judge how well they are doing or the pros and cons of hair loss treatment.

I shaved it to keep it in line with the first pic now. I think i'll let it grow to the end of the month and take and then shave it and take a pic.

To me i dont really see much difference. I'm one month in, in my second month now, so i guess ill see how i am after 3 months.

Hey, did you notice the body hair calm down after you discontinued? I think I am experiencing the same thing (except I haven't really looked at the shaft of my penis, but I'm sure its probably hairier too). I have noticed new thicker hairs on my shoulder and biceps. I have stray thick hairs on my cheeks popping up too. This is not fun at all bc I am a hairy dude to begin with .

Hey. As of yet the extra hairs havent gone away. I expect they might stay until they shed. But its stoped advancing. Like you i also got some hair growing close to my eye now (beard stubble got higher using minoxidil) alot of hair under my arm and around bicep which now connects to armpit hair and growth on my shoulders.

Like you i am quite hairy on body hair, but i reckon that propecia reduces body hair and i have confidence the propecia should reduce a bit of it.

Ok, so i updated my 2nd month pic. Here is comparason between 1 month on propecia and 2 months on it

Personally i think it looks thicker, so thats a positive. I'm off to thailand for a month to do some thai boxing, will post my new pic when im back

Hey its been two months since i last posted. I think that things have got a little worse im still on proscar and nizoral 2% I think i might be shedding as some hair has come out how long do they ususally last?
