cutting proscar in 1/8's, 2x per day

Since finasteride has a 4 hour half life, do I get more benifit by cutting proscar in eighths and taking two per day? Someone said if a pill is cut this small, it gets metabolized by the liver very fast. How can that be posible?

Finasteride's half-life is not particularly relevant in this context, for the reason I've discussed in other threads.

4 hours may seem like a short half life, but it takes about 30 days for 5-alpha reductase to be fully back and uninhibited levels just from one 1mg dose... so the time dosage is meaningless

if anything, cutting the pill will cause more oxidation to occur and be less effective

i'd like to try this, but how exactly are you cutting those suckers into 1/8s? that's some precision chopping.

regardless of the half life time, its ability to bind the to ar 2 and inhibit dht production is still there because of the little amount of the ar 2 that is actually produced...
