If you are on finasteride I would say 6+ years easy. I had mainly crown thinning and slight receding hairline, started finasteride at age 21, now at age 31 and right at baseline. During the golden years of finasteride, year 2-4 I thickened up some actually especially at the hairline. Looking back with my hairloss starting so young I honestly thought I would be NW4+ by now. So in that regard finasteride is a miracle.

any sides you feel you should mention? beside the minor ones.. do u have any problems you could correlate to finasteride?

How long do you guys think I have? 6 months?

dude thats a natural hair part... unless u notice the hair thinner in that section i really doubt you should worry... but if u do notice some recession in the front of your head then best bet would be to get on finasteride so you could basically make your hairloss look nonexistant for the next 10+ years

Unless you post other pictures I see nothing. So my bet is never or later in your life.

Never had any sides in 10 years. Maybe slight ball ache now and then? But that could also just be blue balls from getting horny. I have never had any problems in the sack and my gains weightlifting in the gym skyrocketed along with my self confidence. There have been other members with similar results. I think a lot of the "symptoms" are in peoples heads. The mind is extremely powerful, if you get paranoid and convince yourself that you have sides chances are you will.

although i love hearing stories like yours.. in my case sides were real.. i developed gyno, but aside from that i felt nothing different, i actually miss being on finasteride and not worrying about the progression of my hair. but good to hear.. im gonna do the slowest taper ever to get back on it without reoccurrence of gyno.

and to the op...

this does look like the very beginning of hair loss and probably the best time to treat it.... the hairs that are popping out of your cowlick do seem to be a bit whispier than the hairs surrounding.. thats all i could get from your pic after looking really hard... but you have nothing close to a bald spot and not even a man balding whos so preoccupied with his hair would notice your male pattern baldness

I don't see anything unusual at all.

and no, I don't expect you to be a NW6 before worrying about your hair loss.
