Hey everyone, this probably more the paranoid in me and sorry but recently I saw my dermatologist and had her look at my crown area for signs of baldness and she said that it looked good and it was normal in hair but I just cannot get this out of my mind when I look at the back of my head & it seriously bothers. I'll try to get a pic, but I have this split that goes down the back of my head & to form like a "v" shape going up to my whorl and the whorl area seems to not have a lot of hair there. I generally brush that area where my whorl is to the left so I don't if it's the way I brush it or what. My question and it's probably pretty lame but how do you know if your crown is thinning or not a split or the way that you style your hair? Is it typical to see scalp back there & also around and below the whorl area? Also I think about my uncle on my mom's side that is a NW6 when he was 25 but I'm 36 so I think that possibly this might be catching up to me in my crown area... Thanks for your time.
