Aerobics:
12-15 miles a week (this was my running regime last school year).

Now I am naturally thin/lean person and would like to stay that way but at the same time put on a little muscle (I realize one has to dominate over the other). last year I didn't really have a plan, I was never big on using super heavy weights so I did like what I do now, relatively low to mild weights with long reps. Would anyone have any suggestions on adding muscle to the calf area?

just eat alot, do the key compound lifts (Squats, Deadlifts, Benchpress, dips, pullups, rows, shoulder press), and lift hard. ALL of you will get bigger.

I'd say forget the low and mild weights. Go all the way.

You somehow think that heavy weights will make you big overnight. It takes more than that. Do the whole weight programme properly, and when you start getting big instead of stepping up, keep at the same level.

Besides, it's not only the exercise routine that controls your weight but your diet as well. Eat around 500kcal a day more than you normal would, and use that extra energy in the gym.

Well I started trying to lift heavier than I usually do in the gym and I don't think I ever was this sore in weight-lifting not even when I first started but nonetheless I still want to keep going as I like the challenge and I am still keeping up with running.
