What Up Fellas!

I have already spoken to some of you during the chat session about this. However, some more information would be great.

What are the possible side effects of taking Creatine and Propecia at the same time. If any....

Do the two drugs interact and could Creatine cause hairloss.

Anyways, if these questions are ignorant my apologies.

Over and OUT!

I would think that there is absolutely no interaction, finasteride is a howrmone blocker and creatine is a phosphate "holder" for rapid energy release.

There would be none .......they are no side effects from creatine in the first place except maybe water retention which doesnt happen if you drink a gallon of water a day.

I wouldnt worry if i were you.

I will....

I will be taking TRAC Creatine, which is supposse to retain less water. But either way, I will be bringing a gallon of water with me to the gym.

Thanks!

Wait, explain to me how drinking a lot of water can help avoid water retention. I would think that if you don't drink too much water, there wouldn't be enough to retain. I just don't understand how it works.

Thanks.

In a nutshell, creatine works to help generate energy. When ATP loses a phosphate molecule and becomes adenosine diphosphate (ADP), it must be converted back to ATP to produce energy. Creatine is stored in the human body as creatine phosphate (CP) also called phosphocreatine. When ATP is depleted, it can be recharged by CP. That is, CP donates a phosphate molecule to the ADP, making it ATP again. An increased pool of CP means faster and greater recharging of ATP, which means more work can be performed because of the extra retention of creatine and water in the cells.

Now, creatine does no go without side effects and the most common is water retention. In order to help eliminate that its important to have proper hydration, drinking lots of water, in order to prevent the body from holding water within the cells.

Dont know if this makes sense....

SeNor hi de puta brasiliero amigo mio, =)

Joder, que estoy borrachisimo ahirita. Bueno, de todoas modos,

I thank you for your description on how creatine works. What is it with the T turning into the big bad D anyway? Testosterone to Dehydro", ATP to ADP. WTF?

Anyway, about water retention, that was the part I asked about. That's what I wanted to know. But you didn't go into detal. I still ask, if you drink a lot of water, why wouldn't that lead ot MORE water retention?

But we all agree, drink a lot of water and yu won't experience water retention as bad, right?

Look if you have water retention its from overuse of creatine....if you drink more water you flush the excess creatine from your system ...and this in turn will help you get rid of the excess water as well.

Cool. See, that makes sense. Thanks.

I was thinking if you take creatine and you have a tendency to retain water, then drinking water would mean you would have more water to retain. Which would be bad.
