hi everyone - i've been getting this burning/crawling sensation on my scalp the last couple of days. This isn't the first time it's happened to me. Oddly, iti happens for a couple of weeks then goes away for months... last time i felt this burning sensation was about 6 months ago... it's extremely irrating... i've been using propecia for 15 months, lasercomb for about 5 months, and shampoo regularly with nizoral 2% & t-gel ... i may go to the dermatologist this weekend to see what he says... has anybody heard or experienced this before? if so, what is it and what can i do to treat this? is it a side effect from hair loss? is propecia not working for me? any feedback would be much appreciated. thanks

I don't know if we are going through the same thing here, but I go through periods like that. In my case it could be just a treatment overload, allergies, or whatever... but what helps me is that I have a bottle of Tricomin that I use when that happens.
I hardly ever use it, but sometimes I'll skip a day or two of my regimen and just use that and it makes my scalp feel good again. I'm sure there is probably something cheaper out there that would relieve that sensation, but that's sort of the role my Tricomin has fallen into! It *does* work for me when that happens.
