Cowlick Or Not ? Also Mbp Cure

Hello Guys,

This is my first post, so pardon me if I didn't followed any rules.
I have been shedding hairs 40-50 / day (I am not sure if they are more then this).
Age : 25

Due to shedding of hairs , I became too much conscious about it and recently noticed a blank spot. Upon going more through this forum, I found that it might be cowlick too but I am confused. Need some expert comments.

Also, I am pretty much tensed due to hair fall and needed some recommendation from you guys (Yes, I will visit the Doctor soon but have read bad reviews of docs around me hence needed double confirmation).

I have lost some hair from the head crown position as a result of hair loss ( I guess we call it MBP) , how can I reduce this ?
Also while combing , I easily lose 10-12 strands of hair.
Should I start using minoxidil (Got this again from this forum only

) or something ?
Also, how much unusual it is to start losing hair at age of 25 ? (p.s : yes , it my family there is hair loss thing. Dad and all relatives have MBP)

Looking forward for some helpful replies.

Also losing hair at 25. I wouldn't go far so say it's super super common but I'm starting to realise it's more common than previously thought.

I'm 22 and all my friends are my age and since I noticed I was losing hair I've suddenly realised that SO many of them are receding or have bald spots emerging so it's not as un-common as you may fear

Hair fall isn't necessarily a sign of concern. We normally lose like 100 hairs a day. The links you posted didn't work. Repost the pictures and I will let you know whether it looks like you are balding. Best bet is scheduling a derm appointment regardless if you are concerned, because they will be able to better diagnose you than some randoms on the internet.

Why is it so much harder to regrow hair on the hairline than the crown?

I mean assuming that DHT is the main culprit for their miniaturisation and then you remove/suppress the DHT surely the hair then starts to be able to grow more again regardless of location on the scalp?
