Ive been using minoxidil for around 15 months, although admittedly with very little regrowth, although what has regrown is the classic peach fuzz. Could taking Biotin make this look better? Or would it still look sh*t?

Highly unlikely. Boitin is a only freakin B vitamin for crying out loud! Maybe if you eliminated androgenic activity in your scalp, then your peach fuzz may pigment.

At best Biotin will "maybe" help with hair health. I use 2mg a day. At $2.50 a month I will try it till my supply runs out and see. There is one study out there showing it might help increase thickness at 3mg a day, something around 4%-6% I think. Just one study though. It deff can't hurt to pop some everyday.

One thing is for sure, my nails are ALOT thicker since I started using Biotin.

As a tool for male pattern baldness I wouldn't put to much faith into it.

I'm currently rubbing guano on my scalp with awesome results*!

You should try it too!

*I am having great results rubbing the guano ON TO my scalp. Long or short term beneficial effects are unknown and probably irrelevant. :p

Seriously though.. Just because you hear 1 or 2 other people are TRYING something, doesn't mean that it's of any necessary benefit for you to try it too. Research the product before jumping on the bandwagons.

Thanks for the advice, although it was just a thought.

*note to self, 'Dont think!'

I have just put it in the category of 'cant hurt', so i'll see what happens, although im not expecting too much.

For how much it costs it's worth it to see if helps. Biotin is very cheap no matter where you get it.
